Are you ready to try Exercise Psychology?
Sitting in a therapy room talking about your feelings can be confronting and is not for everyone. Exercise Psychology takes a practical approach and involves outdoor therapy. We combine physical and mental exercise. More people are aware that exercise releases feel good chemicals in the brain, and this along with fresh air, helps us to think more clearly.
Exercise Psychology offers a modern approach where activities are relaxed, affordable, and tailored to suit individual needs. The Walk & Talk is when we go for a walk and explore psychological tools useful to the individual. Play options are available to children who need support with behaviour and/or emotional regulation. Meal support is on offer for those struggling with eating disorders. Group options are also available. Ultimately, we aim to have the individual learning to be their own coach or therapist.
Change happens when we try something new. Skills are best learned when times are manageable, avoid waiting for rock bottom. Try something different and explore your possibilities with Exercise Psychology Hobsonville, Auckland. Remember, any one is welcome.
